my Wife and iI live in California, looking to possibly realm change to a sever from the LA datacenter and to a California based time zone, playing alliance, we mostly do M+, no pvp, and with the possibility or raiding.
realm we are on currently is 3 hours ahead of us, causes timing issues with guild M+ runs and makes raiding impossible (guilds are already raiding before i get home from work at 5pm).
from my research on datacenters and realms, ect, seems that Silvermoon is PST time (California time), and is from the LA data center (closer center, less lag i guess?)
warcraft’s “realm selection” screen says its a “medium” population, are login Que times an issue on high population days? or is that a thing of the past since realm merges?
just wanting some feedback before my wife and i decide we want to realm change, hoping for no regrets.
