Title.
I just want to play the game and chill with casual RP and occasional event. Honestly I know there’s a couples guild around but non of them want to recruit people.
After chatting with a few homeless Draenei in public RP, want to know if more homeless Draenei would be interested in this? I know of three guilds, I don’t really want to name them as I don’t want to give free advertisement as they keep their door closed and I’ll respect whatever motives they do such.
Looking to hear from Draenei fellow-kin!

All I can think of is The Shator even though they close recruitment from time to time. Would be nice to find other Draenei to RP with!
There’s the Shator and I think The Aldor is another one I think.
There was the Hand of Argus for a time but they left for parts unknown. I kind of liked them.
Also there’s Shield of the Naaru, I don’t know if they’re active.
Shator doesn’t want to recruit. I don’t want to talk about them. If they want keep a stick up their bum it’s on them. This thread is not about existing guilds.

Honestly, Lore wise, I think this would be the perfect time to try and establish a new Dreanei community that is culturally structured (rather than militaristically). With the Tishamaat being reestablished on Azeroth, the reuniting of all Dreanei/Eradar/Broken races, and the promise of a new Dreanei Home City, it would be very fun to explore a more social and civilian RP model for us. Also, consider too that this new cultural establishment would have to be adaptive to life on Azeroth and it’s peoples and native cultures as well, so being excepting and curious, rather than the more RP common xenophobic outlook, would be a blessing I’d think.
Sorry… I’m rambling… but yes, love love love the concept!

It has nothing to do with not “wanting” to recruit, nor do any of us have a stick up our bum in relation to having new folks. We recruit in waves so we can help acclimate new folks rather than mass inviting and having folks fall through the cracks. This was something that was done in the early days of the guild, and while we were much, much larger, no one knew anyone, and people came and went every day. It is not a sustainable way of running a guild.
If you are interested in starting a new guild, that is wonderful, and I hope the best for you. However, the folks in the Sha’tor work very hard to ensure a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for ourselves and it has nothing to do with not wanting to invite you or anyone else. We have no obligation to anyone to bend our rules or standards because of public pressure, and we will not do so.

If you’re interested, the Sha’tor tries to use AU Shadowmoon Valley as a stand-in for a modern day Azuremyst Isle. It lets us RP in an environment that is a. Draenic themed and b. Not broken rubble and nearly 20 years old graphics. You’re welcome to use this idea if you want!

Can confirm that what Shator folks I have interacted with have been friendly and accommodating. I know of a few people looking forward to the next wave.
Heard good things, and I doubt already RPing with members and having fun with them prior to recruitment opening would hurt chances going in to them.

Hoping that between the short story hinting at a Silvermoon renovation, and the Draenei Heritage line hinting at a new city that the Draenei get the new RP hub they so deserve!

I’m very much in the same boat, where I’ve been playing on and off throughout most of this expansion… but haven’t really roleplayed much at all since Battle for Azeroth because it feels like the only Draenei guilds I see out there are way too large and intimidating to join at this point.
And that’s not their fault at all, because I constantly hear about how great and friendly they are — but when you see a guild with 100 members or more who already know each other, there’s some inevitable anxiety of just wondering how you can make yourself seem interesting enough to not just awkwardly stand around like a wallflower during events with so many established relationships between characters.
So having more Draenei guilds out there that are a little easier to approach would be such a huge blessing in my eyes. I have like… five max level Draenei at this point, three of them from before Remix started, so it would be nice to actually find a home for one of them that I could focus on.

I mean I’m intrested in any RP guild as I’m personally kinda newer to the game. That said Draenei are one of my favorite races so I’d be 100% down to jump in on this and help figure it out.

Here’s a thought… rather than creating another, new Dreanei Guild, maybe we could all come together and build a Dreanei Social Community. A Discord Server and associated WoW Community?
I think it would allow and promote an intermingling between Dreanei guilds without dictating their particular guidelines or requirements upon the whole as well as building relationships and alliances between various guilds.
Also, maybe some Drea who are already part of a guild they love don’t have to choose to part with them in order to pursue Dreanei centric RP interests that may be lacking.
I’ve been a part of several multi-guilded communities and they do offer a wide array of social opportunities.
I’m still excited for the prospect of a new Drea Guild, don’t get me wrong, but in my personal experience, Guilds in general have a certain “boundary” type feel about them that often times cramps a free-spirited outlook.
Just my thoughts… I’ll go sit down now.

100%. More guilds should think about retention over recruitment. Some are content to just churn through people like they’re a Fortune 500 company trying to keep you from getting some kind of RP pension.
