Looking to draw a few characters

So, I’ve been drawing WoW characters for a bit now. I love the game’s visual style and the world it has established. I draw mostly from RP servers where people have really fleshed out characters but due to limited in-game character customization options, they aren’t able to really portray their characters quite as they would like to.

I’ve already painted my friends’ characters and I don’t really know anyone else who plays, so here I am trying to reach out to more people and see who would be interested. For some reason, out of all the people I’ve asked, it’s always alliance the ones who want their characters illustrated. Horde? Not a single one. I’d like to find at least one or two horde characters to work with. They have some really interesting races and would be interesting to give them a go. If any of you know of someone who fits that description, let them know.

(I’m actually not reaaaaally sure how or if this kind of “service” (if we can call it that) advertising violates anything from the terms of use, but I’m sure someone will let me know soon… My apologies if it does, I’m really clueless about it.)

I mean you could offer to do free stuff. That’s fine. Advertising however is a no no.

Heck I even made a thread YEARS ago where I drew people’s toons. There was also the infamous “Doodle Gnome” that did something like that all the time.

I looked you up and you’re really good – I sincerely hope you are able to do this professionally. Although if you are doing a fair amount of professional work I would think it’d be a long list for commissions.

I’ve accepted all the requests on Discord and thank you all for the kind words. My work still looks a bit cartoonish but I’m trying to get rid of that. Want things to look more realistic while keeping the WoW style. But yeah, thanks to everyone.

Follow your dreams, man. “Cartoonish” isn’t necessarily a bad thing, especially when using WoW as a point of inspiration. Warcraft III was hella cartoonish… while still having something as grotesque as the Undead race be a thing.

Obviously I was a big fan.

Both of us are Horde, but we’re both Trolls lol. You can get some practice drawing Trolls!

Might want to make it clear whether you’re advertising for people to pay you for commissions or if you’re looking for volunteers for free sketches. The former isn’t allowed.

Was literally about to say this. I don’t want to discourage you or anything, I love it when people draw my characters from wow/dnd. But if are essentially advertising your paid service, that’s breaking ToS. I’m not reporting you, I’m just letting you know.

That being said, if you want characters just to practice with feel free to draw this character. The only thing she has that wow doesn’t let me do is a scar from where she got stabbed in the lower abdomen.

For those curious part of Felsaviors backstory is that she got stabbed in the womb making her incapable of having children. That’s why she was so willing to sacrifice herself to becoming a demon Hunter. It’s not like she had a future or legacy.

Makes sense. So far I’m in the talks with 2 people and they have brought that up so we decided on making sketches for free. It is practice after all, specially with hordies. Thanks for the info, people~ <3

As someone above said, the tinges of cartoonishness in your style really suit WoW inspired works.
Even if you move on to a hyper-realistic style I hope you keep still keep this style in your arsenal!
