Looking into a new Computer/Laptop, asking for help/opinions

So “quick” overview, I’ve been wanting to get a new desktop or laptop as of late that can easily handle WoW plus higher end graphic games and would be able to handle streaming at the same time. I feel I’m being pushed even more since when I tried to turn on my laptop, that I normally play WoW on, it decided to have an error on turning it on.

I’m looking for better informed opinions on what might be a good computer for the situation. The restriction is that if I’m going to purchase it I’ll be going through Best Buy, it’s just easier for me in my situation, also I’m only looking at PCs not Macs.

The only thing that I know for sure is that it should have a SSD.

I guess I’m looking for suggestions on brands and storage size along with cooling systems, what graphic card(s) would best work for longer.

I’d rather not spend too much over $1000 but I also don’t want to have to replace the whole rig again in 3-5 years because the innards were about to be phased out shortly after I purchase it.

I did a quick search on the desktops from bestbuy and dont really think there is anything worth the price. Many of the desktops have a very low end gpu or cpu along with a cheap MB/PSU.

If you can get a open box ROG Zephyrus G14 14 (GA401IV-BR9N6) I would go for that as they can be found for just under 1k open.

You can try this build. It has Intel Quick Sync video for streaming.

DDR4-3200 will run at 2666mhz. Its just an open pathway for DDR4-2933 support just in case you want to upgrade to Core i9-10900 in the future for drop in upgrades.

Bestbuy has this, be slightly over your limit but it looks good for a laptop.

That laptop is on pre-order plus having a rtx 3060 in it the stock will most likely be very limited.
