Doing this in Fury, btw:
I am definitely getting the rhythm down but I feel like the enfeebling spittle is causing me a ton of problems.
From what I can gather, our only way to counter the spittle, without wasting pummel, is to avatar. Is this the play? Cause I’m trying to save it for the cocoon.
Other than that, the melee damage is just insane but I try to just save a Brann pot per swing.
Any other tips are appreciated. I want that blue plane!
Spell reflect will cut down spell damage, even if it is not a reflectable spell. Brann as a healer should also dispel it most of the time. If it is the slow, you shouldn’t need to move that much faster. When in doubt darkflight out. 
If you really really need the root break, odyn’s fury/titan’s torment will also cast avatar, but if avatar is already up it will not break a root.
I actually made a weakaura to track the buff so I could stagger the potion HOT.
If you do it as a slayer, you can also heroic leap away and charge back as relentless pursuit counts the enfeebling spittle as a movement impairing effect and will get rid of it. That helped me when my avatar was down
Odyns fury, provided Avatar is not already active will also get rid of the poison as it triggers Avatar if you got that talented.
