Serious question here. As someone who mains Fury Warrior, what do I have to do to be taken seriously when signing up for keys? I’m currently 2128 IO, 267 Ilvl and average 11.5k DPS throughout the coarse of an entire key run. Am I missing something or should I just reroll?
Run your own key and build your score. It’s not warrior, it’s that your score is very low to be considered for a weekly 15 at the end of a season. You could be any class/spec combination and with that score have the same issues. If you like warrior, stay with it and get started early next season. Unfortunate, but a reality.

I play feral and get into keys fairly easily, it’s not your class / spec. Granted, if your name isn’t cyan, green, or purple you’ll see plenty of declines, but you just gotta keep hitting join. Getting into a key that is above your io, however… The fastest way to build score though is to run your own key. You’ll never get declined from the one.
EDIT: After looking at your raiderio, it’s also worth noting you don’t have a lot of runs in. If I were to see you as an applicant I would assume that you don’t have the mechanics down simply because you only have a handful of keys done this season and it’s the last leg of the season. Throw up your own key and you’ll see how many dps apps you get and that will be a pretty obvious indicator as to what is appealing or not and how you’d possibly look to someone else as a potential applicant. That’s going to further emphasize you running your own key.

gonna post this from earlier in the season, just to give people an idea of what it looks like… this was 3 minutes after we listed the key. we were looking to fill 1 dps slot. no amount of “not being an elitist” allowed us to invite all 84 applicants.

This looks like a great problem to have if…. Wait for it… you run you run your own key!
p.s. if your recruiting solid players while running your own key and continue to deplete, it is highly likely that you yourself are not ready for the difficulty level. I’m not saying that this is the case with you, but it is extremely valuable to try and be self aware in order to improve. This holds especially true if you are trying to improve your score and become an “instant invite” so to speak.

To be taken “seriously” at the tail end of a season? Being 2128 at this stage means you’re either an Alt or new/returning. If you’re an alt, best thing to do is link your alts to your main on raider io so people can see your main’s score.
If this is your main, then 2128 just isn’t a serious score, and 11.5k overall is average dps. Run your own key, which should be easy enough to get it to 15,16, 17. And if everyone does roughly 11.5k dps you should be good to time those levels of key. That will boost your score. Once you hit 2500, you’re much more likely to get picked up for 15’s. Until then it’s a bit of a slog (unless you have some guildies or friends to run with).
Being 2128 at this this point in the season has absolutely nothing to do with being New/Returning or an alt. I’ve been playing for 14 years. If you also read my post you’d have noticed I said I main Fury. The reason for my score only being 2128 is due to the inability to get into keys and whether it be someone else’s or put together and group capable of timing keys.

And I replied to you on my Arms warrior which is even less popular than Fury and yet I still get my 15’s done for vault. Only reason I’m not over 2500 on him is cause I just run whatever for vault and I don’t try to target any dungeons for score. If I wanted, I’d go get 2500 this weekend.

I myself leveled up engineering for the brez. It helps a lot getting into other people’s groups.
And the portal toy. It’s hard to play any toon that doesn’t have it for a variety of reasons. (Parachute cloak, nitro boosts also.)
As a DPS it’s a struggle as sometimes they will just pick the first overqualified person that joins or will wait for that. And usually at this point, it means really, really “overqualified.”
Especially for 15 and above it’s tough to imagine not wanting folks who have completed and done 100s of higher keys versus some guy trying to work his way up. That’s why the suggestion for your own key push is solid.
Still kinda sad when you get rejected for content that is easy even for you but that’s just how the cookie crumbles with how this is structured mixed in with human nature.
No one wants fury warriors. everyone wants locks, hunters, windwalkers, mages and rogues
Fury Warrior is definitely a good spec, but 2 dps spots go to Destro + Survival, and then 1 spot goes to all other specs combined (and is usually the keyholder). If you want to be invited then you have to play Destro or Surv, otherwise you have to start your own key

Well, if you’re looking for more people to add to the roster for people that are capable of making 15’s look easy, I suppose you can add me too, jdinflames#1817, I can heal or dps. I’ve only ran a few keys a week since they announced the new season so I haven’t been around as much but if you catch me on I’m always down for a few keys.
