Kind of in limbo waiting for classic wrath. Any recommendations on a newish open world game where I can play solo, but I can pvp or co-op at will? Kind of like GTA, but not at the point where I’m in constant fear of getting ganked by a hacker 24/7.
I’d prefer it to not be a full on shooter or something that looks like it was made in the 80’s.
not exactly open world… but I got hooked on Wasteland 3

Maybe Valheim, dunno if that fits what you’re looking for? It can be played solo, or with friends, or with your server open to the public to join (if I understand correctly, I’ve never used that option personally). For me personally it kind of scratches an itch similar to one WoW scratches, even though it’s not an MMO. Survival and gathering/building aren’t everybody’s cup of tea though.
