I know its a long shot, but looking for some old friends pre lichking launch. Poofy wasa druid and czar was a rogue. I believe brothers. They helped me learn to tank on a blood elf paladin. Server was alleria i believe. Thanks!
There’s a ‘missed (classic?) connections’ sub forum, with servers so you can go look for someone on Alleria there if you’d like.

Try WoW armory to see if their characters are still active.
If you can’t find the characters one of the following:
-
Server transfer (most likely under a different name if taken).

Haven’t logged in their characters to update them.
-
Unsubbed and haven’t logged in their characters in a long while.
-
Deleted account or character.
Try looking to see if you still have their battle tag in friends list.

Past that, check the Armory to see if the characters in question even show up, cause looking for them here in GD is a straight up long shot, and the Classic Connection threads are pretty much reliant on the people you know also having posted in there.

I have, and there are some poofy druids but no rogues on same server. None alleria.
No advice, but best of luck…some old friends were the best. Hopefully some of the above suggestions are helpful, and you are reunited!
