Looking for Keyboard recommendations

Hello everyone, I am currently looking to replace my old Ergonomic Microsoft Natural Keyboard Elite for something much more modern and ready for this new era of gaming. After doing some research, I have decided that I want a Corsair Keyboard but am unsure of which one I should invest in.

I am currently looking at the ( Corsair K95 RGB Platinum Mechanical Gaming Keyboard ) but am open to suggestions and recommendations, since I am new in the gaming keyboard market.

Please keep in mind that I am trying to keep the price below $150 and have it water + dust resistant.

Have you looked into other brands such as Logitech and cooler master? Though Imo Corsair has the best looking keyboards.

I’d recommend you do a bit of research regarding mechanical switches that are used in those keyboards. Most common ones are red, brown, and blue.

Red has the least tactile feed back but quick Due to less pressure to respond. Often leads to double tapping a key by accident.

Brown has tactile feed back and mild clicky sound. Requires a bit more pressure. A good in between option for gaming and typers.

Blue has great tactile feed back, requires even more pressure than brown. Clicky sounds and great for typing.

I did check out Razer and a few others.

I honestly do a lot of typing, and the brown key would be the best for me.

A little pricey but I use a ROCCAT Vulcan Aimo which uses Titan switches (Brown equivalent). It looks like there is a sale on them on amazon.

I love Corsair products but I never liked the font/appearance on the Corsair keyboards

Pulled the trigger and bought the (Corsair K95 RGB Platinum Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Brown Key)

I went from a Corsair k70 with cherry mx red to a k55, those are the ones that’s just membrane. Wanted to try something different

You’ll love the k95 because those extra 6 keys on the side are worth it. The k55 is the same layout as the k95, congrats on the new keyboard

Thank you
