Well, Draenei names I find to be interesting. the ones I have for my Characters are Ovaan (Shaman) Xyomi (Priest) and Vaakhan (Paladin) take a look at the named NPC Draenei and try to piece something together from there, failing that Name Generator it till something fits.

Could try Amon, falling that maybe Xalcaar.

Definitely the wrong place to be looking.

My other Draenei toon is a warrior named Dapilot. Title: of the Exodar.

A good way to get a name is just listen to the in game voice lines, pick a Draenei word that sounds good, and derive a name from it. Or just straight use the word like I did for this toon.

I’m thinking about making another one named Poros, just to have a matching set.

I use Greek for all my Draenei names. I just do. The accent sounds Greek, and I think the names look cool.

Interestingly, this paladin has the most colored history and was the source of my one and only tangle with Blizz’s moderation system.

Originally her name was Eurydike, Greek spelling for the wife of Orpheus. I thought the death and resurrection element in her story was a good fit. Down the line, however, I got flagged for an inappropriate name. Apparently some people out there thought it was a homophobic slur (I won’t spell it out). I had also tangled with a fellow guild member in one circumstance, and I’m pretty sure he was the first to report it, but there must have been others whose feathers got ruffled, so, there you go.

I appealed and even spoke personally with one of the mods, who admitted that the name was legit and there was nothing wrong with it, but the flag for name change and the suspension were upheld regardless, so hence the new name.

Despite this I support Blizz and their efforts to police the community. It doesn’t stop the occasional innocent person from getting trammeled by the system, however, and I understand that.
