Now that I’ve caught up with some of the pets I’ve been missing since leaving WoW two years ago, I see a pet named Baa’l coming up in a few strategies. So, I’ve decided to look for him.
Unfortunately, I didn’t bother doing all the prerequisite tests for Uuna. I have Uuna, just having collected all the items she accessorizes with in order to get Baa’l.
Just a few moments ago, I was trying to find my way back to Argus (I had forgotten how to get back there). And now I need to get to Mac’Aree to help Uuna find her doll.
I don’t see Mac’Aree on the maps when I click on the console aboard the spaceship. And I don’t know if I unlocked it yet or not. Can someone tell me how to get to Mac’Aree, so I at least know if I’ve unlocked it yet?
I’ve done all the other steps in the quest up to this point, taken Uuna to Shattrath, and the patch of light in Ashenvale. Just stuck on Mac’Aree.
Mac’Aree was renamed Eredath in the recent patch because the zone was named in reference to a developer no longer with the company following the harassment lawsuit. It was one of many changes made to clean up references and innuendo in the game.

Thank you. That will make this easier. So far, none of this questing to get Uuna ready so that I can collect Baa’l seems to be too difficult. As soon as the game gets back up, I will check my coordinates.

You’re welcome.
Good luck!
Not working. It won’t let me hug Uuna. Every time I target her, with /hug, it just says “You need a hug.”
I guess it’s broken.
EDIT: Well, that fixed it. I just kept her targeted and spammed /hug with a macro the entire time when the soul eaters approached.
EDIT 2: The Mount Hyjal spot isn’t working. I summoned Uuna, ran through the spot, all around the spot, but I never got credit for completing that part of the journey.
I thought I would skip it and get back to it, but it doesn’t seem to work that way. Kun-Lai Summit doesn’t spawn her dialogue either. So, I guess I have to keep trying.
EDIT 3: There is an Azerite eruption right on the spot in Mount Hyjal where I’m supposed to bring Uuna. I wonder if that’s the problem. Also, is there a quest that allows us to neutralize the eruptions like in BfA? Perhaps if I can get shut that eruption off, I can get Uuna’s quest updated.
I had that same problem. I solved it using an alt that hadn’t touched BFA yet. That way it didn’t phase to a place where you couldn’t complete it.

Thank you! I’ll try that right now!
EDIT: Saints be praised! It worked!
EDIT 2: I’m so glad I waited until after I was able to fly in BfA before I did this. I’m still seeing videos of people doing this with Goblin Gliders and tricky balancing.
Seriously, if any did this before attaining Pathfinder 2 in BfA, my heart goes out to you. That must have been awful!
I’m nowhere near done. Still collecting pebbles.
EDIT 3: I’m done. And that was awful! I couldn’t imagine what a nuisance it would be if I couldn’t fly. Like getting the first scroll. And forcing us to find tiny pebbles way past the fatigue area is just unfair.
EDIT 4: I have to say, there were parts of the experience that brought home grim reminders of why I quit WoW two years ago. To do the Goblin Glider thing in Drustvar to get Uuna back her doll, reminded me of how deliberately difficult they make navigation in this game. The design is intentionally making on-the-ground movement overly difficult and time consuming.
The devs just figure that the more time we spend struggling with the geography, the less time we have to breeze through content, and the less content they will have to design.
Paradoxically, this dev team works hardest to avoid working.
Omg I KNEW there was something super off about “Eredath”, and the first time I read it, I was like “where TF is that?!” …saw it was on Argus, and just thought “uh… ok… strange… but I guess it’s been a while”. Glad I’m not going crazy, ha.
