What’s the benefits for alts when main reaches lvl15 renown with one faction ? Same as the main ?

I can’t look right this second cuz games down but there are goals you meet in some renown where your alts get a rep boost so they catch up real fast. Some of the higher ones just have it be that your alts don’t gotta grind for it

The big benefits are at 10, and 20 renown. At 10, alts get 100% bonus rep with their own renown grinds for each faction with which the main has 10, and at 20 those alts get 200% bonus rep with their own grinds for each faction with which the main has 20.

That’s 10 and 20. No idea what 15 is about. The waygates are account wide too… maybe that. :dracthyr_shrug:

So no need for alts to level renown right ?

Rank 10 is 100 percent bonus to rank 10. Rank 20 is 200% bonus to rank 10 then 100% from 10 to 20.

Profession items and collecting xmog.

Some profession items are locked behind renown along with obtaining specific crafting knowledge. Also there are some items locked behind renown.

For example, some black smithing / leatherworking / inscript patterns are locked behind renown. So if you get up to 18 on an alt, you can unlock those patterns.

It’s best to farm that at level 20 though instead of 15 due to the boost in rep.

Alts can help early on if you get them to level 10 renown first, then your main will be that much ahead. It is only something for the most sweaty gamer to do and even then only marginally faster in the beginning. Maybe not even then if you just spam rep farm groups.
