Run all old raids on every character. If you’ve even got like 4 at 120 with minimal gear (440 ilvl) you should be able to pull in 80-100k weekly

Jeebus. I should start doing this.

Running old raids is such a good idea but it’s so mind numbing.

I’ve been doing all three invasions on 14 characters. You’re not guaranteed 2k gold per but if you get that you’re hitting 84k a week, plus doing current content.

It may not be perfect but I find it less grueling than old raids, haha.

Clearly I am doing something wrong. What are you hitting that you pull that much?

Every old raid on 4 characters

You’ll go insane cuz thats hours

You will, but that’s what a lot do to make easy, consistent hassle free gold.

You could always shell out $20…

I don’t do it anymore, but when I did, literally every raid. Including Legion normals if possible.

On 6 characters.

It was extremely boring.

Download TSM and learn how it works. Made 6 million since Tuesday because people don’t know how to price the corrupted BOEs they get.

Damn. I think I would go mad.

This is a good idea too. Playing the AH.

Just keep in mind you need money to make money

How much would i need to make a solid start?

Look honestly running old raids at best will get you like 7k-10k in a hour or two for WOD’s Hellfire Citadel in Tanann Jungle, draenor.

After that you can also do professions and find what sells on your server. Herbalism (zinathid), Mining (Monelite ore), and Skinning (bloodstained) bones can all be worthwhile things, but it depends on server economy

Aside from that, if you can speedrun tank bags and work on it you can polish and get runs anywhere from 8-20 minutes depending on speed, you get 1k gold plus some augment runes that sell well right now with new raids.

But even then if you’re lucky enough to get say 7-10k a hour, that’s still like 20 hours of ingame time per 15$, or like less than 1$ a hour. If you have spare gold, great! But right now with the current economy it’s just hyperinflated from legion gold.

Easiest way to make easy money: run 2-3 lv 120 characters with iLv exceeding 415 through Draenor Raids (especially Foundry on Heroic/Mythic) and sell everything that you loot. Pool money together (should have roughly 9-11k from three characters running on the same week), then buy underpriced Trade Goods in bulk. Flip those for “average price” at a slight undercut, and you’ll get some money that way. With that money, build up to the harder to sell items (Jeweled panthers often AH price at 35k. With JC and a bit of patience you can turn those into Onyx) and triple the profit (at the expense of adding a wait to the game). Once you’ve sold x amount of Onyx Jeweled Panthers, you can then work with more expensive things, like average priced trade goods. Things worth looking at are cloth for larger bags, Disenchant products, ore in general. Flip those for a higher than market value (but not too extreme), and you’ll be rolling in money in give-or-take 3 months time.

2 words: Moonguard and Dranei

Oh yes, once upon a time, moonguard was great for leveling when tmogging came out. You could have a special red plate mog drop, and if it turned out to be a ‘highly desired’ mog, you could sell it for 10-180k each way back in WOD! :D, especially TBC greens, some of them sold for hundreds or even millions of k!

Sadly, the tmog market has kinda hit saturation now, but it was still a crazy time.

Nowadays? I’d say at least 1M gold minimum.

Are any specific raids better than others?

I don’t think so, but I didn’t really do a ton of research into it. Running all normal Legion raids. All normal, heroic and mythic WoD raids, all Heroic MoP raids (keep in mind you can run SoO normal, heroic and mythic just like WoD’s raids), all heroic Cata raids, all heroic WotLK raids and all BC raids.

If you’re up for it, the LFR versions of the raids that have it as well.

I’d also dedicate “runners”, full mobility runners. Those are your Monks, your Demon Hunters and your Druids. Will make it go by a LOT faster.

Thank you! I actually just realized the other day you can queue for old raids/lfr lol. 14 years and still learning new things about this game.
