i know they took out the api for classic but is there a threat meter that “works” buy guessing the threat based on the combat log?

because of the changed to things i have noticed there is 1 or 2 meters out there but they all seem to require everyone to have it to work properly. so unfortunately there is not a threat meter that works globally like it used to.

ive done that ty. they keep returning addons that used the old threat api. i figured i would try and get help from people playing classic to see if they already were using one.
but ya thank you for being so awesome as to post that i should “google it” . i would never have thought to do that!

I find that the most reliable addon so far is Tidy Plates: Threat Plates. It doesn’t show numbers, just highlights the mob I lost aggro from. It is designed for tanks, so that’s all I need.
Other than that, Details kind of works some times.

Details has a new tiny threat module that I started using. I haven’t used it much do in not sure how well it works in a group environment, but it shows threat of you and others and I think? how much more dps you’d need to steal aggro. If you click the cog wheel in details and go to modules, you might see tiny threat there and then you need to click it and switch to that tracker instead of dps.
Probably won’t work. They want it to be closer to retail(careless about threat) because in contrast it would make retail look even more braindead.

Classic threat meter only works well if others use it. A lot of people don’t know about it, so it’ll likely just say you always have 100% of the aggro.
