hey guys im wanting to level a character in classic but im unsure which servers to check out. I would prefer to play on a horde pop server east coast. any recs for me?

Hmmm, I’m not sure if time zones are really a thing for servers anymore. Can anybody else in the community confirm this? I thought Blizz did a shake up recently.
Anyway, Greenlee, as there are only a couple populated server clusters, players from all over have congregated there. If you’re looking for high pop, I would pop onto both Mankrik (PvE) and Whitemane (PvP) and do some asking around. There’s likely to be guilds running at times that work for you, but you’ll need to find them.
Horde is most populated on Whitemane, but if PvP servers aren’t your jam, be patient with Mankrik. There are guilds there, but pop on that server is generally lower.
Another thing you might try to aid your search is to check logs to see when people are playing. You can head over to https://vanilla.warcraftlogs.com/ and search the server in question. Then pick a few of the raids and browse the results. That might give you a few guilds to approach and start asking questions to see if you might be a good fit.
