The title says most of it, but to dive a tiny bit deeper...
I came to the server a short while ago and absolutely adore it, however I have no had much luck with guilds. I'm in one on my main character, and while the people are nice it isn't really working out for me. No bad press here, just very small and does not really run events.
I am the advance scout for a group of 3 of us hoping to find a home where we fit likely with a few characters each.
We are hoping for:
* Mid Sized (figure at least 8-10 people on during peak hours at minimum.
*Runs regular RP events (preferably at least 2-3 times a week).
*Event attendance not mandatory (IE - we would want to come to as many as possible, but need a guild that understands real life happens).
*Evolving and interesting plot-lines.
*Friendly hopefully lively guild chat.
*A sense of actual belonging. Every guild says they do this, we want a guild that actually does in reality.
I'm sure there is more but that seems a good start. I'd love to get some insight into who's recruiting and where you think myself and hopefully my friends can fit in well and be contributing members.
Thank you for your time.
PS - Said "medium to heavy" since I know those terms can vary a bit. I tried outlining what we were looking for as best I could.

Definitely will thanks!
Not sure who else is recruiting that might not be there though so any information is appreciated.

If you're looking for a Medium to Heavy RP guild, Embershield may be up your alley. We're an Independent group who represents the nation of Aurelia, working to fight our battles in order to propel our nation further. That's right, independent, not neutral. We're at war with the Horde, and our current storyline has us facing both Horde, and a group of Elves known as the Truespear Enclaves.
If you are at all interested, please check us out and apply at: AurelianEmpire.com
We have many areas to choose from, if you'd like to be part of our military, or if one of your friends wants to be a citizen or mage.

Boop! I'll toss my hat into the ring as it were, and announce that The Ashen Guard is currently picking up steam in terms of activity and member-base. Based around a little more of the "Irregulars" type of roleplay, its an order comprised of the folk who "get the job done." None of the showboating, honor-mongering, and decorated war-hero nonsense.
We're a little newer, though the foundations of the order are well established, and our storyteller team is working on plot and such as I type!~
As before, we're building up a member-base, but the folk already present are all welcoming and open-minded to say the least!~
If it sounds interesting to you and yours, don't hesitate to scream at me ingame or over battle.net. I'm not as scary as I look, promise!

Ebonsbrook pretty much fills all those bills. Currently RP events are typically 2 times a week. We currently have 8 to 10 very active players, a handful of part-timers, and a few just returning from hiatus. We're big enough for fun, but not too big you get lost in the shuffle.
Our premise is a frontier settlement in western Gilneas that has been recently founded. The area is quite dangerous (a smaller but lingering presence of Forsaken, feral worgen and some yet-to-be discovered threats) but opportunities for fresh starts abound! If you like a combination of adventure and frontier settlement RP, this could be for you! Hit myself or Daerryk up in game.
Good luck on your search!
Could First Light also be of interest to you? Our info thread is at https://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/20765197274. We are on both factions (and we do do cross faction RP!) and we have a lot of events spread against several 'chapters'. These chapters each have a slightly different theme to them, including one draenei-themed one, and they do events separately and together. We also have social members who don't raid or RP, and we have raid-only members. In other words, something for most play styles.
We definitely know real life happens, and nobody will give you trouble if you can't come to events! We say the more the merrier (usually; occasionally, we have limited-attendance events), but the real world comes first.
The current plot lines are centered around a recurring guild villain as well as our response to Sylvanas' behavior. (We are not anti-Horde, it should be noted; we're neutral, but do not approve of what she has done).
We tend to have a lot of people on on raid nights, since that's when all the raiders come out to play, and on non-raid nights, we've got the dozen or so you're looking for. (Some of our RPers are on those raid teams, some aren't).
Good luck, and I hope you find what you're looking for!
