Looking for a legit pvp server with zero boosts, zero gdkp, zero botters, zero multiboxing

I would play on a fresh server if it meant still keeping my main on a separate era server. If they are just going to continuously restarting every 4 years I’m good… I can only reroll so many times. The reason I don’t play retail is because I hate having my progress reset every 6 months…exact reason I’m against seasonal servers for wow

Its out riding its pet unicorn.

I mean you guys keep saying that but when that style of play has a direct impact on the server(economy and leveling dungeons) it’s no small feat to “ignore the gold buyers(cheaters) and boosters”

Everyone makes more gold, that’s a wash.

No one owes you a dungeon run.

it is tho, You can find a group for Anything at all levels. if you want to Join a 2sr raid you can, you just have to network with other guilds that are doing them. or join a guild thats doing the content your looking for (easy). this economy only hurts people that are midmaxing and not everyone is doing it.

Buying gold is cheating, so no, it’s not a wash.

So, don’t buy gold.

Easy peasy.

private servers

Shows how little you know about them.

This is 100% your own presupposition based on nothing.

Rmt was still a thing on pservers. But when they got caught they were perma banned.

Gold value was also way higher on pservers. And yes, gold farmers still playing on pservers

Blizzard lacks the willpower, talent, and integrity to make a server with zero RMT, GDKP, boosting, and AGGRESSIVE anti botting.

Your only recourse there is a private server, at which point the active population makes it likely not worth the effort (I’d also personally want whatever server with the above, to also be 100% english only and outright prevent the prime gold seller countries from accessing them as well as block any access to anyone detected behind a vpn).

Yea, that would only exist in your head… you’ll never find a server like that big dawg, you’re asking for too much.

Well multiboxing is now banned. So that is the only thing you will not have any of.

Only way you can get a server without all that sort of thing is a server with none to little population.

You know little, why go over to a private server where probably a few thousand play on it. Demand is higher on Retail and Classic than it is on a private server, anyone who buys a carry on a private server is ridiculous because Blizzard can always take them down.

I know little?

I played on pservers for years and years, and still monitor them now just out of curiosity.

You on the other hand, don’t know anything at all and are basing everything you’re saying off of your own presumptions.

Whatever the reasoning is for people playing on private servers over classic has literally nothing to do with it at all. It’s a non argument.

There are also legitimate reasons people play on them. The China region does not have blizzard hosted servers anymore. So the literal only way they can play is via private server.

That’s why gold sellers play there dude.

This isn’t rocket science. You making stuff up to try to convince me isn’t going to work.

You just look clueless . Blizzard can not “just take them down”. Not all foreign countries are going to bother with the legal issues of a gaming company in the US.

EU and especially Russian based servers are quite literally immune to blizzard. The only pservers ever shut down by blizzard were USA based. Because they have the power to do so (in the USA)

You also have people who quit blizzard servers to play turtle wow. Honestly your entire argument has no basis or point, and I don’t know why you even bother to press it bro

The OG Vanilla servers only had like 1500 people on it.
This idea that a server “sucks” if it’s not so overfull that you can’t farm is dumb.

Depends on your goals really.

On classic (and now on era) the overworld is probably far too crowded…

That said, as someone who basically lives in bgs any moment I’m not raiding (which I literally only do for gear), my only considerations for server population are 1) ease of raid groups to get my gear and get back to bgs and 2) availability of bgs popping.

Those private realms rolling with 1500 people are typically graveyards as far as pvp is concerned.

Most of the time the pirate server admins are the ones selling gold/gear/boosts.
