I am a returning player and have not been very active since bfa. Would like to find a guild that is not dead. All my friends have long since quit the game. I am still in their guild till I find a new one. Cant bring myself to dethrone as that is wrong to do in my opinion.

I help run a social/casual guild that’s recruiting and looking for new members! We have a normal learning raid and also a heroic raid! Normal learning raid is Saturdays 6pm-9:30pm EST open to everyone thats 606ilvl with sign-ups that are first come/first serve. Our heroic raid is Thursdays/Fridays 7:30pm-10pm EST. We’re looking for dps. 6/8 heroic with prog on Mug’zee.
Raiding is a bonus to the other events we have in the guild, and our focus is to be a friendly/social guild! We have an active discord server and events like Mythic Mondays, guild auctions/raffles, Herald of The Titans and more!

If you are interested in a “later in the evening” active and social, you may enjoy a guild like ours — small, close knit, but fun! I run this guild with my husband as my Co-GM. However, we are a Pacific Time based guild and it seems there is a shortage of guilds on that coast, but it does suit some MST/CST/EST players that work second shift, have spouse/kids to tend to, or simply are night owls. Currently we have roughly ~100 active members that make up roughly about ~330 characters (some are admitted altoholics!).
If raiding is what you’re looking for, we have two teams — a Mythic CE team and a Heroic AOTC team. The Mythic raiding team, Olympians, runs on TUE/THUR from 8 PM to 11 PM Pacific. Obviously that has pretty strict requirements to join, but we also are very cognizant of adult responsibilities. Our Heroic raiding team, Prophets, runs on WED/FRI from 8 PM to 11 PM Pacific. Right now we’re looking to start to build a healthy bench for these raid teams as well, which helps those with limited time to access that content on the occasion they are needed to fill spots.
Aside from raiding, we constantly run delves and dungeons and there are several M+ runners and M+ static teams in our guild to go through that journey. We are also a social guild and encourage everyone to participate in Discord (our guild chat isn’t as active admittedly, as is with most guilds) which is our main hub for all our events! We host things like Cards Against Humanity, Truth or Dare, Pictionary, or TV/Movie watch parties too! There is always a few folks sitting in Discord to chat with too (mostly afternoons and evenings of course cuz we’re adults and work!), but not so many that it overwhelms.
