The Midnight Amendments (AOTC 5+ years running) is an established VISAGE preferred guild founded in March 2018 by experienced raiders and long-time players who grew tired of the game’s population of hateful bigots and unpleasant edgelords and just want an environment where everyone is chill. If you agree and want a place to exist in Azeroth with similar folks, come play with us! We welcome all player types, from casual lurkers to heroic raiders! While we certainly welcome everyone we are very much hoping to expand our roster of M+ pushers. We currently cannot guarantee space in raid but are expanding our efforts to offer raiding opportunities as defined in our latest Raid Outline (linked in Discord). Raid times are SUN group Wednesdays 6-9pm ST and Sundays 5-8pm ST and MOON group Mondays 6-9pm ST. We also do TONS of Mythic+ dungeons throughout the week!

WHAT WE DO -
Raiding - Consistently AOTC since our founding (except for Crucible because screw Crucible). Progress as a guild through Heroic raids! Raid times are Wednesdays 6-9pm ST and Sundays 5-8pm ST for SUN group, and Mondays 6-9pm for MOON group, learn more about our groups through our Raid Outline (linked in Discord). While we cannot guarantee space in raid at all times, we do our best to offer everyone a chance to get some experience as much as we can.
Since I cannot link our raid outline here, the quick and dirty is that we have split into 2 raids that are assessed every 2 weeks. Sun raid is on Weds/Sun and has a selected roster for more aggressive, rigid heroic prog. Moon raid is on Mondays and is open to all, also with the goal of AOTC and heroic prog but at a more relaxed pace. It is all explained in much more detail in the Raid Outline which is available in our discord.
“What are you looking for/recruiting in your raid comp?” - So we don’t recruit specific roles and classes or aim for a specific raid comp. We encourage people to play what they enjoy and we adapt and adjust as needed. We strongly urge tank and heal mains to have a dps alt or off spec since tank and heals have the fewest spots.
M+ - We run a TON of M+ dungeons! We have a fairly large m+ gang with Keystone Master/Hero and folks are happy to help others with high or low keys. Guildies love to run and push keys throughout the week and our discord is often the best tool for forming groups.
PvP - Fellow guildies are happy to join you… sometimes until unhealthy wee hours of the morning 
PvP is not the most robust activity in TMA but we encourage folks to bring more of that energy!
Leveling - Need a buddy? There’s always an alt to be leveled
Themed activities - Fun group activities both in and out of WoW! Movie night every Thursday on Discord, social game nights, meme raids, achievement/mog runs, and more!
WHAT WE’RE ABOUT -
TMA was founded on the belief that sometimes the internet and games played on it are so full of stress and toxicity that sometimes we just need a little corner where everyone can just BE COOL FOR LIKE, ONE MINUTE OKAY?
Our 3 core rules are based upon a comedy bit by the McElroy brothers on their podcast, My Brother, My Brother, and Me where they reference the fictional “Obama’s Midnight Amendments” as rules that people should live by to just make everything more chill.
They are as follows:

Rule #2: C’mon…
Rule #3: Niiice
They are simple but loaded with self motivated discipline and responsibility to take care of your fellow player.
At length, these rules encompass tons of things but what it really boils down to is:
No bigotry, at all. Do not use any language that insults an entire race/culture/gender/religion/sexuality/ability/etc. Also, be aware of and avoid common phrases and jokes that are rooted in trauma and can trigger pain for your fellow human.
(As you have noticed, cursing is allowed, but not at the cost of insulting an entire people. We trust our members to be mature and use common sense but if you have any questionable content to address, message Faedren for the final ruling.)
This guild is ran by a plus size, atheist, queer, half-Jewish, intersectional feminist and her atheist, intersectional feminist, nonbinary husband. If that prickles your spines, this might not be the space for you. If you can just BE COOL with this and other differences that make members diverse and wonderful, then welcome.
As of 2022 we are a VISAGE (previously Liquid Women In Warcraft) preferred guild based on our status as a femme and queer owned/operated/friendly/safe guild!
