Come on Blizzard give Evokers that portal and let us summon players like Warlocks. Would give another class the ability to gather raids together and not have to take a Warlock. Oh and I have a max level Warlock so Im not just trying to steal the spell I would like to see at least one or two other classes get the utility. Also dont want to take it from Warlocks just would be nice to see another class or two get it as well. After all they took Heroism/Bloodlust and shared it with other classes. Besides Soul Stones would still be unique to Warlocks.

I was thinking the same thing the other day. Heroism isn’t unique anymore, etc. Even if summons are no longer a unique thing to warlocks, they’d still have Healthstones, a bres, curses, etc. Thematically, summoning other players through time and space would suit evokers so well.
Thats actually an amazing idea, I’m gonna add that to my daily alpha feedback routine. Very nice!

Yeah no I’m cool without annoying out of combat utility.
Not that it doesn’t make sense, just that no one invites you because of it and the only value it adds is very rare moments in mythic plus.
I mean evoker doesn’t really need extra reasons to be invited. We have good utility that nobody else has. Bleed dispel, an AoE damage reduction + movement speed buff, a reset button for movement abilities, SoM, and 2 AoE stops. Not to mention augs entire kit.
Warlocks ability to summon is pretty handy for getting latecommers into a raid without having to go outside to get them or wait for them to run inside. But it’s a bit of a shame that it’s just something warlocks have.
And it’s not like people are inviting warlocks just for the closet, because they also have a lot of in-combat utility. I don’t even really care if it’s evoker that gets it, i just think one other class should be able to summon (and make gates, even if it’s worse than their gate)
Yeah I’m 100% on board for gates, that has way more practical value.
Give earthen some sort of underground tunnel summon and call it a day lol
To be honest at this point they should just import all of the remix scrolls. That would go more along the lines of play what you want without having someone go on their bad priest alt they dont like just for the stam buff (for example).
