Can I play the “no move” build, and still do semi decent? I only do aotc and up to 20-21s.
You can play any class and spec in the game and achieve this by playing moderately well.

If you play a warrior currently you’re gonna be disappointed in the damage loss.
Right now warrior just presses roar and bladestorm and does 1m dps in keys. DH you’ll have to actually do a rotation, good positioning and targeting just to do half that dps. Not to mention the tier sets next patch are looking grim for DH and amazing for warrior.

I like doing a rotation and pressing buttons. Warrior rotation is horrendusly boring.
Used to main a shadow priest and did extremely well on it.

actually very true. fury is miles more fun than havoc and arms is alright.
havoc rotation is spam a couple buttons until the go and then do your super smash wombo combo to do your peak damage and then go back to afk spamming 2 buttons maybe 3 until breaks up again. essence break is just a crappy colossal smash

you can play the tempest glaive no mover spec and do perfectly fine in the content you are looking to do. it’s the only spec i’ve played on dh this season. in sims it is about 4% behind momentum but in reality few people nail the momentum rotation and actually take advantage of that gap.

Warrior is a DH that doesn’t have to move and has better survivability. You’d be doing yourself a disservice

I had a pretty good amount of fun on DH last night tbh.
Did a few 15s on it, felt clunky but still more fun than fury is with a 2button rotation.
You are not going to get any good advice here. All these people do is complain. They want DH to go back to 2 buttons as well. Probably why they are telling you to stick with Fury.
Good decision to give it a go yourself.
I play No Mover and have absolutely no issues. I aim for AOTC, 2k arena, and 2.2k m+. I really like DH this xpac.

I wouldn’t advise switching. Warrior does more damage than DH but a significant amount and has pretty much the same utility.
