Looking at DH, Shaman, or going back to Warrior.
Would play ele or enhance if I did as healing isn’t my forte.
Are they fun? Do they bring decent utility(never played shaman aside from in Eternal Palace)
We’re getting a lot of touchups and changes, but as an Enhancement Shaman I feel that I bring an extreme amount of utility and just plain usefulness to a party.
A great Enhancement Shaman does massive damage, massive healing, while also navigating both soft and hard CC simultaneously.
You can adapt for nearly any dungeon or environment, bringing exactly the tools you need to help the team succeed.
You will, however, have to likely deal with more buttons than you’re used to. To fully utilize the entire kit, I mean.
Here’s a bit of the utility that is brought:
Hex, Root Totem, Wind Rush, passive Mana Restore to party, Mob pushback or knock up, ranged low cd interrupt, slow totem if not Root, AoE incapacitate, -10% physical DMG totem, AoE poison cleansing totem, anti wipe rock elemental, 300K+ off heals within limited mana pool, windfury aura buff for melee party members, high movement speed party member for important mechanics, AoE stun totem, Anti fear/sleep totem for party, Earth shield for vip members, p u r g e, big AoE healing cool down (ancestral guidance)

That poison totem for afflicted is so tasty.
Get a group with a resto shaman and DPS shaman and they can alternate every afflicted spawn and basically ignore it. So nice

I’ve been have tremendous fun with Elemental this expansion.
Enhance is extremely fun. It’s also super squishy, is one of the few melee classes without extended melee range, and currently is very mediocre single target with good AoE and cleave. Changes next week may make the single target better. I personally don’t care for elemental because of how much of a turret they currently are, but the crit combos are fun.
There will ALWAYS be a spot in raid for DH and they are VERY good in AoE right now.
