I’m seeing so many people trying to somehow ‘one-up’ Blizzard on their decisions concerning launch day, and Classic in general. Just stop. With release like 30 hours away, let’s just look forward to the game and quit trying to get everyone riled up.
The LFG addon will be broken before Phase 2.
Players on Herod, Whitemane, and other full servers are going to have a bad launch day. Of course, that’s their decision, so no pity for them.
Classic isn’t Retail. Stop pining for systems that have been proven to be destructive to the gameplay.
The majority of us couldn’t care less about the way things on a Pserver were done.
There’s several others I could call out, but it’d just be overkill at this point. With that said, let’s see a show of hands at how many are going to be up all night playing!
Nah. Not looking for emotional cornflakes here. Just want to hear more about the excitement and happiness tomorrow’s gonna bring, rather than another “this isn’t fair, Blizz sucks” post.
Nothing really killed WoW. But LFG certainly took a lot of life out of the world around you. Similar to the Garrison in Draenor, it almost made the game feel like a single player experience.
As to the level squish, I’m really curious how they’re going to do that. That’s a lot of reworking of the quests, zones, gear…all of it, actually.
They’ve done at least one major level squish before.
It basically ruined all the gear drops below max. Made them all worthless, other than whatever intrinsic value they had as Transmog.
I expect we’ll get the same result again. Only the gear for the newest max-level grind will work well. Everything else will be so dumbed down and nearly identical in effect that there will never be any real excitement over gear while leveling alts…
