Long Past Due to Allow 10/25 in Same Week for Legacy Raids

Weekly reset is necessary for live content. It’s a defining progression track for MMOs. But in 2024, and with transmog collecting quality of life improvements, its never been a better time than to remove the 10 - 25 - heroic version shared weekly lockout restrictions for super legacy content.

I’m currently running through the list of raid achievements on my main. It’s a fun tour! But its painfully slow when it doesn’t need to be. I’m currently finishing Ulduar, which was consolidated (10+25 man combined), and now I’m on Trial of the Crusader. I did 10 man. Next week I’ll do 25 man. And I forgot there’s a heroic mode you can toggle.

This is 16 year old content. It is no longer necessary to gate this behind a choice: do I farm 10 man this week, or 25 man? All players who enjoy farming old content should now be able to run antiquated expansions’ raids in the same lockout period.

It’s getting tiresome hunting down a single helm for my priest, for example. I run three to four priests through a raid each week. It can still take months to get.

Preach brother man! I’m 16 weeks into MOLTEN FLIPPIN’ CORE with Baron Geddon not dropping the last tier piece I need to complete the Mage’s Tier 1 Arcanist set.

  1. SIX. TEEN. SIXTEEN. FIFTEEN+1 WEEKS OF FARMING. I’m almost exalted with Hydraxian Waterlords!!!

But yeah, not exactly what I’m discussing here but hell even the prospect of allowing us to run the same instance for extremely antiquated content would be super helpful! If this released in TWW, let us run Classic, TBC, WOTLK, Cata, and MOP for example. +1 each expansion. Something to help!
