Quests- Long Forgotten Memories/ A Pawn on the eternal Board

The in-game cinematic of A Pawn on the Eternal Board is not ending and Anachronos is standing on the Crystalline Tear. A number of future Scarab Lords are being blocked progress.
The scarab lord quest line is already arduous enough. Please allow those of us willing to make the push to actually progress our quest lines.
Bump, Stamp, Look, Blizzard Game Master or Community Manager. Quest :" Long Forgotten Memories" #8305 is broken. The quest was activated as some point and the NPC: “Anachronos the Ancient”. Is just standing above the Crystalline Tear in Silithus. I submitted a bug report hours ago and it has been broken for at least 6 hours. Please reset as I need to get into raid groups to finish this quest and you limiting my time enough already with everything being limited drop rates!
I’ve been killing bugs so long I’m convinced a bug crawled into my brain and I have been left permanently bug minded. Are you telling me that after all these bugs that I have exterminated I will not find myself riding a bug?
I just checked Shadowstrike on my toon over there. It seems like just a Crusader Strike problem, I can’t click on the crystal on that server because I don’t have the quest so I’m not sure if it’s the quest itself that is not working properly.

They were pretty quick to send Samantha Swifthoof to greener pastures.
I finished my rep last night around 630, turned in the quest and I was thinking i had plenty of time to get the rest done for SL but now I am logging in and out checking this part of the quest line, along with numerous others it appears since there is always someone here waiting to see if this has been corrected. Truly upsetting.
this quest line take a lot of planning and coordinating and so far we’ve lost at least 14 hours…making it hard to be positive here
I agree, this is causing a lot of people to lose time. not great for this to happen on a time gated questline.
considering there is no way to do this regardless, not like some step is just not working the guy si standing on the thing you have to click so dropping the quest is pointless. with thanksgiving this week a lot of people are raiding bwl today and losing their lock out to pick up the red shard this could seriously impact some peoples ability to complete this which is not fair to all the hours we have given to this quest already

I will kindly suggest you to abandon the quest and try again. If that doesn’t work, ensure that no addons are blocking actions and to do a full UI reset, following the steps below:

Its a problem on Wild Growth as well. the quest is bugged and has been like this for the last 16 hours
was there at 630 last night so at least 14 hours since there were two horde standing there when i arrived last night
Cannot interact with Crystalline tear on ground due to Anachronos the Ancient being bugged out. Please fix or issue a server restart.

Bugged Questline cost our guild a LO this week. Its going to cost us a Scarab Lord. what a joke.
So frustrating that on a time sensitive quest chain that a full day is lost and there’s been zero action taken by Blizz other than to say…have you tried abandoning the quest.
