i mean look at all the threads on pathfinder class pruning and titan forging ML etc that were popping up and now all of a sudden they throw this one announcement out there and of course the majority of outrage is about it for the moment
seems like an attempt to deflect focus away from other problems by giving the forums a new FOTM reason to be outraged

well you notice EVERYONE is talking about long boys for the moment and the other issues I mentioned have slipped off the top priority for now it seems

They did the same trash in WoD.
Spammed the forum about flying 24/7 which drew attention away from many major problems WoD had.
The funny part is about all this is that only 3% of the population even owns the mount, the vast majority of these players in the fake outrage crowd would have never been able to afford this mount anyway. TCG mounts have been out for many years and the greater majority of the players were never able to afford any of them either.
“Lets make some outraged people quieter by making a lot more people outraged” seems like a bad, poorly thought out plan.
yeah well this is Blizzard were talking about they have a tendency to go the extra mile in terms of shooting themselves in the foot most tend to use a gun but they grab a rocket launcher
The fake outrage crowd doesn’t need Blizzard to change anything to find something to be outraged over. This is a common theme.
no of course not but a highly charged decision like this tends to generate sparks and it doesn’t take long to become the latest dumpster fire and what better way for Blizzard to draw attention away from other topics by throwing gasoline on it with announcements like this one
I was just thinking the same thing Vox. Granted it is early and I haven’t had my coffee yet… but that theory seems to be missing one small thing like… oh… logic.
So you think the spam Pathfinder threads were enough for Blizzard to decide to create a new outrage topic over? Do you really think Blizzard felt threatened enough by the handful of you guys that they did this in regards to spam?
I see it more like get people to buy WoW tokens or to get people to play longer to earn said gold to get it before its gone move on there part it’s shady but smart move.
I never said it was solely because of pathfinder if you read the first post it was just one of several hot topics that tend to be common in the forums including high elves titan forging class pruning the level squish and more but you notice most of them have dropped off the radar since everyone is talking about the long boys for the moment
