Are there more? Personally I love being dragged all over the world for tedious quest lines; it makes me feel like I’m on a mission. I think the only thing I have left for the Horde is the Scholomance one that starts in Winterspring (the one that lets you skeletize everyone in the viewing room) and the Fallen Hero.
Willing to roll an Alliance toon if they have needlessly tedious quest chains.
Roll a pally. Their epic mount quest chains should do ya just fine!
Also - the Defias Brotherhood and Missing Diplomat are wonderfully huge chains while leveling Alliance. Duskwood also has a couple fun chains for Alliance toons.
Alliance have some fairly long, sub-30 quest chains in westfall, redridge and duskwood. Duskwood probably has my favorite low level chain with the stitches quest chain.
The ony chain is better than the horde imo and quite a bit different and involves BRD as well as UBRS
I suppose, especially now, we have all the time to find out.
Yes! This character was the first time I have ever leveled an Alliance character, and thankfully I had a leveling buddy who was very familiar with Alliance quests. That made it a lot of fun.
Redridge quests weren’t so bad. There was 1 (maybe 2) that sent you to Elwynn Forest. The Duskwood and STV quests thought kept you coming back for more.
I enjoyed the questing zones, and playing with my leveling buddy a lot, but I don’t identify as Alliance.
EDIT:
This isn’t true! I leveled a gnome Death knight during Wrath! And within 2 weeks, I was leveled and geared enough to lead a PuG through Icecrown Citadel.
(Though, DKs started at level 58, so… I wasn’t being completely untruthful).
The greatest quest chain in the game is coming up. The Tier 0.5 or Dungeon 2 set quest line. So collect the full 8/8 dungeon set now if you want to do it. It takes you all over both continents, and you get to fight several unique bosses, some of them actually fairly challenging (Lord Valthalak in UBRS is the hardest non-large raid boss in the game). Includes a 45 min. Strat Dead run. It might have been the most fun I had in vanilla.
Like many things, I’m sure it will turn out to be easier than I remember, but looking forward to it nonetheless.
I mean scythe of elune starts in Ashenvale and routes you through a lot of places you otherwise might never go till much later, leaving you in Duskwood.
You end up with A bunch of FPs and exploration and you switch from one leveling zone to another.
