Sitting in the middle of the “defend the researchers” event in zaralek. Waited for a solid 20 minutes.
Timer hits zero, event starts…a new timer for 30 minutes until the next event.
So now I have to wait another half an hour because sharding is busted. I already put in a bug report, but damn… this is just such a huge waste of time because it happened to virtually every character of mine last week with the Tuskaar Soup event.
Had to do the soup event twice on almost all my characters.
Another episode of “You just got Sharded!”
Yeah had that happen last night. Was about 40+ of us there and poof… 3 and a reset timer.
That’s exactly what happened lol.
that happened to a raid I was in last night. We waited for the timer and then suddenly bam, everyone was like “Why does the timer say 30+?”
Happened to me, too, but only that one time. Done the event several more times since.
You need to understand that there was someone in a shard with 0 people waiting. They built a shard for them and three of the people in yours. Now all of you get to wait an extra 30 minutes.
If it just saves one person’s experience it’s a good thing. The four that it ruins it for are of little concern.

Quick question: were you in a raid group or on your own?
I invited a guildie to a raid group I made who wasn’t even in ZC yet and suddenly half were sharded into one shard and half in another.
