The issue with this is that dastardly duos is insanely easy, even for average players.
So when they put Echo and Liquid members into the event, they are just going to steam roll it even quicker and make the event look even more boring than it actually is.

IM shocked the 2 guilds agreed to even do it, Wonder if they will get any HATE for being blizzards pawns in trying to and get people to care about it.

And the main problem with dastardly duos is that the only reward is tied to doing the weekly quests.
Actually engaging with the event outside of the quest gives you nothing but like 50 achievement points.
Had blizzard put the mount behind getting a certain score, then people would actually play it (but then they couldn’t time-gate that reward and people would finish the event in 10 minutes).

dont give them ideas on score/mounts for future stuff or they will and we will all be forced to farm for months
I can’t imagine blizzard time-gating the ability to get a certain score.
