I won’t lie. I did enjoy the end of Legion far more than I liked the beginning of BFA. But I can’t say I’m having a bad time.
Sure there are things they could fix with the game, but I guess I’m just too much of a fan and still having too much of a good time to see what many of you are seeing.
I think people hanging on to Wrath at this point are only going to lead themselves to disappointment. That game was 10 years ago, man. It’s not coming back to live.
Maybe if classic does well, perhaps you’ll get lucky and get your wrath servers, if that’s even a decent compromise for y’all.
But personally, I appreciate their attempts at communicating with us. Might not be what everyone wants to hear. Maybe we can be more constructive about what we do want to hear. But we’ve gotten changes to some of the stuff we complained about so far. We got vendors and tangible rewards to work for, as well as acknowledgement that they’re refining the system for us going forward.
I’m just a satisfied customer with a few issues that I feel are being addressed. I doubt they’ll come after such loaded questions like you posted above, but maybe if you all could get together and outline what kind of questions you would like answered about the game itself, perhaps they’ll consider them going forward.
shrug
If they would let us create polls on here I would happily start one.
BTW, I’m a huge fan as well. I unsub, resub, etc. It’s an unhealthy addiction that I have developed over the years.
Emotionally invested, it feels like watching a slow motion train wreck, and some of us have been screaming for them to hit the brakes well before they went this far down the tracks.

I think Reddit allows them, and I know they spend a lot of time over there as well.
I know it’s not preferable to go third party for this sort of thing, but maybe you can get something going that’s popular enough to snag their attention.
Just be wary that what you think is a big deal, might not be. I’ve created topics and such about things I’ve been passionate about wanting to see changed in the game, and discovered that I really didn’t have support behind me on them.
Good points.
I would imply that listening to my guilds feedback and watching less and less people login would give some insight into what is driving people away, not bringing them in.
They stopped sharing MAU and other metrics that investors like myself used to gauge their performance. Apple did the same thing. Both are selling less, making less, yet expect people to just ‘ride it out’.
Ugh…
Virtually every company does surveys regardless of the perceived quality of their products.
How dare blizzard send out a survey. Shame on them!
On a side note, most people unsub because of time to do things, and blizzard listened. And a silent minority player base is mad.
I hope they can find whatever people are missing. I’d love to see more people to return to this game, and I guess following 1/22 will really be the test for my guild, since we’re anticipating the new tier.
I just worry that lately there’s so much noise and so many dramatic folks out there, that most of the good ideas and proper feedback are lost in all of it.
The biggest upvoted posts on things like reddit right now are feelings posts. Nothing constructive, no indications of what folks would need to see to have the “good feelings” return. Just overall bad feelings. And occasionally, maybe the popular “scrap this whole system” post that you know is never going to go anywhere. That or complaints that their shop/token exists. Those are what are gaining traction everywhere.
While it might be insightful for them, actual logical constructive feedback is rare.
I wouldn’t want to be in the shoes of a dev right now.

Man, I never get surveys.
