Lol of course mechagnomes can t be druids

That would have been wayyyy too cool for the Alliance to have shape shifting mecha bears and require too much design work. /s

No seriously you guys think that mechagnomes can be warlocks and control minions but they can t be shaman or druid?

The arbitrary restrictions on races and classes are really getting silly as the lore is already in the gutter. Vulpera gets an extra class than mechagnomes. Why am I not surprised? It should have been neutral races with all classes unlocked

gnome animal gundams sounds kinda cool, but it does seem a little weird at the same time

Lore, doesnt matter anymore huh?

warlocks make a lot more sense than their 4 robot limbs somehow letting them turn into a bear.

but yes, transformer gnomes would’ve been awesome.

Robot druids goes against every bit of druid lore out there. Sure it sounds cool as an idea, but it’s not a possible thing. Keep it to the fan fiction.

For warlocks anyone can learn fel magic and use it to control demons. Gnomes are a very technical race and arcane and fel are very suited to them.

Enough Druids already.

Transmog has been saturated so much that the only way to stand out is to be on the latest Race with a Druid. Shameful.

They really don’t though. Literally nothing of what we’ve seen of Mechagnomes thus far indicates magic -let alone fel magic and demonic summonings- is part of their culture.

Whereas at least them building machines is a big thing. Animal transformer machines specifically, maybe not, but machines in general.

But… literally nothing about Mechagnomes involves demonology or druidism…

but for some reason no priest is able to hold a piece of wood with a trigger and press the trigger to fire the gun. makes total sense to use lore like that…right?

Warlock was added because otherwise Vulpera would have had 2 extra classes and that was not going to go well so Warlocks making no sense were added. Someone demonstrate that this is not how it went please

“Druid” and “robot” are literally two incompatible things. One reveres nature, the other perverts it. Druids were originally taught by Cenarius or had their natural affinity to nature magic and its ties to the Emerald Dream magnified by training.

Mechagnomes are neither nature-attuned or compatible with druidic magic from both a lore and cultural standpoint. As “fun” as the idea of transforming robots is, it’s literally incompatible with Warcraft druidism. It was basically never anything but a pipe dream, and obviously did not get added for, again, really really obvious reasons.
