I didn’t raid in Wrath or Cata, and felt like I could still be competitive, and wasn’t at a disadvantage against people in PvE gear because of resil and set bonuses.
Venruki made a video about the gear too and having to raid to be competitive. If someone you’re paying to be knowledgeable about PvP says it’s bad for the game, you should probably listen.
