That reminds me of the time someone got so buthurt at me after an unranked pvp match that they went through the effort to create a toon on my server to spam me hate mail. It was beautiful 
One from a throwaway alt of someone whose key I left. Another from someone upset I chilled on my banker all day doing AH things while watching anime on my second monitor. That was back before regionwide AH, tho.
I havent gotten any hatemail but i do remember one time some guy kept trying to kill me in warmode but was super under geared and i would only fight back. After around the 5th time he did this he got on an alliance alt to call me a jerk. Fun times!

Once after an RBG that I went into saying I couldnt tank without a weapon,but they made me anyways. Got several days of lots of hate mail from the group leader about what a total waste of oxygen I am.

I assume they either deleted that character or got banned judging by his terrible interactions and expanded further then just you. lol

Well I got one of those recently. It wasnt hateful. I dont know if it counts. I keep a copy in my inventory bags.
Not from haters, just friends and terrible mistakes.
Thatâs actually really sad. Imagine someoneâs life so empty that they would spend the time and effort griefing someone over a silly video game. Obviously, they havenât experienced any real life responsibilities if they have the time to do that to you.
The only âhate mailâ Iâve ever seen in a screenshot like the one OP has linked (minus the redacted portions), was eventually was revealed to be what amounted to a series of falsified screenshots which a very unstable and hateful individual created and then mailed to themselves on the PTR.
The individual I mention who did so, simply contrived the screenshots expressly so they could post them to their social media so as to slander various people that they dislike.
Now you may wonder âBut Junzo! How could they do that?â Simple. They do so by creating a BS avatar of their victim on a PTR server. Basically the scam is that the harasser pretends that the person they hate is constantly harassing them and sending them hateful speech when they actually are not.
What they are actually doing, is sending themselves prefabbed nonsense on the PTR and then screenshotting it as proof. The ultimate goal I would assume being to turn the serverâs community against their target with said âproofâ, because people are too dull-witted to consider certain fundamentals that exist at Blizzard Entertainment.
Frankly I donât know why so much of the RP Community is so damn gullible and loses their collective minds like a pack of screaming and flailing Muppets over âscreenshotsâ, let alone trusts them at this point.
Anyone with half a brain would and should know darned well that IF such hateful conduct was truly occurring, then Blizzard would of already shut that crap down in a hot minute.
There is a âReport Playerâ button in the mailbox window. It is not difficult to do.
But on the PTR? There is no GM support or oversight, because itâs a test server. So because of that, if some crazy whacko decided to send themselves âhate mailâ from their âenemyâ, well thatâs probably not going to be moderated.
Spine of Deathwing, MGSecrets, and a couple other like-minded WoW drama sites who think their job is to punish âscumbagsâ, are actually the real scumbags. I say that only because they routinely use this tactic to people that they want to actively harass.
As for Forum âScreenshotsâ? Iâll be honest, because I used to do Graphic Design and Animation, I have software tools that let me test such screenshots. Iâve found 9/10 times most of the screenshots posted for dramatic effect have been either photo shopped with alterations, are straight up copy pasta, or have clipped the context of the post like a dishonest news outlet would.
As it is now? Donât believe 99% of what you read on the internet, and âpress 5 to doubtâ when someone goes out of their way to tell you that X person is bad, or a jerk, or a scumbag etc. Do your own homework, and scope the person out. If they are trouble or icky, youâll be able to pick up on it pretty quickly.
Point Iâm making is this. Donât be a Borg Drone. Try thinking for yourself, because most of the time the âvictimâ is a liar or the actual problem on the subject. I say that also because contrary to popular forum opinion, Blizzard does treat such matters seriously, and deal with this stuff.
We just donât get to see the final results of the matter. Nor is it actually our business.
Actually, the only time I got âhatemailâ was from FFXIV. Got into a fight with my FC leader (a FC I was in for years) and left. He sent me a pretty wordy letter. Hate it when people change for the worse.
Seems people are more than willing to say it to my face here then sent mail. haha
