Cdew’s team got swept OTK vs Cloud 9
It’s super gross… just makes you want to uninstall. Nothing should ever come close to this dmg, crazy how this went live and is in the game. We see how broke Combust is too. These are obvious fixes that need to happen.
Almost like Cloud9 is an extremely dominant team that plays incredibly well and OTK while having their moments in the past is nowhere near as consistent as them.
I’m not sure how you watch the AWC and feel the need to call out convoke while completely dismissing combust.
It seems the entire player base forgot about the 45min matches in BFA.
Convoke didn’t global anything… what are you even watching lol. Like it caught them off guard in the opener and got a cd. No lasting impact. It killed cdew once because he didn’t press anything and threw, which was a misplay. Then chanimal tries to use it one game and it’s shut down literally instantly all game. 4ish times I think. It literally did nothing in the awc lol

Things almost kill people all the time. Almost doesn’t win games. This almost was even with a moon proc.

Trying to justify one ability almost killing two people at the same time is laughable. It can definitely win games (and did) especially when coordinated with the rest of the team properly. This happened in the upper finals too, not just some random high rated match.
Yeh i did that too. I was waiting for him to cast it. I Sstep kicked as fast as humanly possible. My disc was dead from 100%

Trill was the target but Cdew sacrificed him and was playing big sac so all that Convoke damage turned into a massive DoT on Cdew. Maybe he thought he could heal through it but imagine trying to heal through probably 80k over 8 seconds or whatever it is. Poor guy.

Like when cdew died, he quite literally sacced and los’d then just died behind the pillar to the dot. Didn’t bubble. Didn’t wings. Didn’t press anything to try and outbreak the dot. Misplay, as said by himself. 100% had time and ability to survive, just didn’t utilize them. That’s the only death I can remember.

Are you actually trying to defend the fact that you need to use sac and bubble to counter one convoke? What’s your angle? Spicy chicken won all their games in the upper finals. There’s no defending what happened, the game is broken. Everyone kept saying you won’t see convoke in the AWC, and there it is.
