Arms wasn’t bad in bfa, but it also wasn’t good. It was just kind of there. I still got 2400 elite with it in a terrible bracket, 2s ewww but it required alot and i mean alot of effort to beat FOTM DHs and destro locks. 
Only 1 change needs to happen. Nerf shadowstrike by 20-30% and everything is fine. Doesnt matter if dance is up alot, if they screw up on rotation or energy management they are doing no damage. Pve trinkets got nerfed so lets look at this a little more realistically.
Mechanically the spec is fine numbers wise, the problem is the fact that shadowstrike is doing a bit too much damage for how much dance is up
Edit: varick been 2k for 3 expacs listening to him is prob not the move

i’m not hopeful at all that they’ll make large design changes to any spec, least of all sub, this late in the game. tuning is the only knob that seems realistic to me. i don’t actually know the default build-maybe tuning that makes the bigger dances talent better than the more dances talent could come down? maybe it already is. but it’s past the due date for them to bring back hard 1minute dance, i wouldn’t hold my breath for it

Bro WoW has been out for 15 years and rogues have usually always been top tier… Maybe tell us what class you main so we can help you make a post asking for buffs or something.
Or maybe this isn’t a game for you, I heard Tetris is more on par with balance except for that stupid L shaped mofo that just doesn’t sit right most of the times.
I want one dance spec also but they removed it the second they didnt make dark shadow baseline 45% increase in damage. (Suggested this too but im not the dev)
As to your previous statement murph… i dont like varick. Simple. Id give you the history but honestly idc. His understanding of the spec is very basic and its tilting.
Im all with disagreement and different playstyles but stating the the need to gut the mechanics is really troll at this point in time. Ive been all for nerfing the spec and was very adamant during the beta.
They nerfed the legendaries, and then the damage. Now we gotta nerf mechanics? Nah…

True having a stationary cooldown is good in theory but let me give you a hypothetical.
Lets say there was no cdr and the damage was good on one dance. 2 dance spec will still be the go to because of how strong disarm and ranged stuns are. Once youre disarmed its pretty much over, you gotta wait another minute while the other team pves into you.
Contrary to popular belief you are still only doing meaningful damage in shadowdance. So the dark shadow talent wont be used against alot of comps under your proposal. Im still under the assumption that if dark shadow raised damage to 45-50% 1 dance spec would be the best by far but then people would still complain they are dying. The design of subtlety changed in legion from big openers in stunlocks to having dance up as much as possible. Thats just facts.
Its like trying to apply wod or mop subtleties playstyle onto the new design not realizing you dont have gouge or prep or premed to let you play the old way. Just wont work.
Did you of all people really just call someone out for being 2k over multiple xpacks when that describes you literally to a t? You’ve been a hardstuck duelist for like four years? It only took having the most inflated arena season of all time and gushing rmx with spite for you to get above duelist for the first time ever and you still only got 2.7 in a season where ppl were 3600

Which part of his info is inaccurate? You did play RMX, not exclusively but did play it alot during your glad push. I saw you use spite trinkets multiple times during said glad push rmx games, called you out for it on ur stream. I dont think you ran gush as that is not the play for sub maybe thats the “inaccurate” info?

That hardly gives you the right to call someone like Varick out who hasn’t taken arena seriously for a while now, just look at his ilvl he’d never push to any decent rating with that gear. Varick is one of the few objective posters on this forum and is very knowledgeable
You need to stop calling ppl bad or awful because they have different opinions. You barely pushed higher than Lonestar, another hardstuck duelist rogue who also magically gained hundreds of rating in s4. You calling someone else out for being hardstuck 2k is just way too ironic
