Uncapped 2’s are great been running keys all season no whetstone or hunger of the pack. Farm 2’s and already have both

You can tell the folks that never really M+, they continually fail to know how much you can upgrade a M+ item is limited by your IO score. To get 13/13 open you need to reach 2400 IO.
Would be interesting to know what percentage of people that have done over 50 M+ actually are 2400 or higher.
Capped valor is just not the way to go. It encourages you to “sit” on your valor because gear is constantly rolling over. Why spend capped valor on an item when the following Tuesday you could very well end up with a better itemized/higher iLvl item at that slot you just burned valor on.
A much better way would be to cap how much you can upgrade at item over weeks. For example (new season starts) week one you can go 6/13, week 2 7/13, week 3 8/13, etc… Then valor can stay uncapped and instead iLvL inflation is throttled. Then we can spend our valor and not feel like it’s completely wasted each time we get a better piece of gear.

I’ll be real, the people who suffer the most aren’t the 412 ilvl players. It’s the 380 ilvl players competing for spots against 412 ilvl players. inb4 “they can just make their own groups then,” they might want to run a specific dungeon and don’t have the key. Not everyone has the time to farm their key for a specific dungeon.

No one on the dalaran server running lows kets min key is 15 and above.
If you cant get into a 2 - 4 than use the situation to your advantage. List your key as “+2/3/4 ez bonus valor” and get a group of 2.5k to 3k to carry you no problem. Thats what I have been doing with my rogue since I cant get him into a +2 if my life depended on it
