Login Server Down?

Is the login server down. Trying to login and can not from both battle net and from in game login screen. Just disconnects me and gives an error. I am currently in Philippines.

Sounds like something is blocking you. Hopefully this will get moved from CS over to Tech Support.

Edit: And here we are in TS :slight_smile:

I am affected too but its not down. I did a tracert to battle.net and it showed a problem at 1 of the nodes. Check blizzardCS on twitter.

It is unreachable for me too, but the game is so freaking bad right now that I don’t even care.

I played normally today, till like 3 hours ago, and now it is disconnected here as well.

Tried to leave the bnet app and relog but it does not log in the bnet app anymore.

All other games and apps and websites are working as usual.

From Singapore here.
Just tried on both my connections, unable to go Online in Battlenet app.
Tried login from within WoW client, got disconnected.

Edit:
My ISP is StarHub Ltd - facing the issues mentioned as above.
If I use my VPN (connecting to their Singapore server), I do not face the issues mentioned as above.

I haven’t been able to log in to the Battlenet app either. I’ve tried everything.

Im in phillipines also was able to log in early but now cant get disconnected. Only way I can log in is I use my phone as hotspot. I think our internet providers here are having trouble.

Been happening to me too. Can’t log into Bnet through my current ISP Starhub in Singapore

However when I tether to my phone’s hotspot using data (that’s on another ISP) I can still access the bnet app fine.

I’m experiencing the same problem since this morning, my provider is PLDT.

The traceroutes should be going to us . battle . net instead of the WoW IPs.

There is a known issue.

They are still working on the issue. The CS personnel are on PST time. So I would not expect a update until 2-3 AM Sydney time. or 11 PM Hong Kong Time. or 7-8 am PST

Am from Singapore - Starhub ISP, facing the same login issue as others.
VPN is not working for me either.

Hope Blizzard is working hard on it.

Side note: it is frustrating when almost 3 weeks ago I experienced crazy latency (above 2k), and now facing login issues.

Really really bad service from blizzard. We are paying for this damn game. What kind of service is this. Why does this issue keep occurring. Why cant the response team work on preventing such issues from occurring in the future instead of aiming just to resolve it this current moment. You are causing a great deal of inconvenience to us. Most people end up reinstalling the game and spending hours researching for ways to fix the issue when actually you guys are the one not doing your job properly. It is extremely unfair in my perspective has a paying customer. I have played this game 6 years no issues. Why now and why is it happening so frequently?!

well, I’m desperate enough to use my circle life data plan for tethering. Its been about 11 hours of connectivity issues.

Same connection issue with Starhub ISP. Also experienced that massive lag 3 weeks ago with Starhub connection to the wow servers. Progression raid night is ruined. Disappointing.

Same issue for me as well, I live in Philippines. According to their twitter some of South East Asia and South America are having connectivity issues. I had to use a VPN to log on and play.
