After 10 hours of maintenance and several hours of authentication issues. I just have to wonder… after 15+ years. Have things gotten better? Or worse?
Don’t know any other game that has so much downtime and asks their customers to pay for that privilege. Crazy eh? You wonder why I will not pay anymore money to blizzard. Maybe I will be able to log on tomorrow… Maybe I will find something better to do in the meantime and drop playing altogether… Maybe blizzard cares, however I am beginning to think not.

Im no tech expert, but how do authenticator servers fail to accept my login attempts?
They don’t. They’re over burdened and aren’t able to transfer you to your realm server or get your character list from the database servers. When it times out with those request it terminates your connection.
Client is failing to authenticate certain users’ caches. It has nothing to do with what you described.

if you are having issues logging in… keep logging in until your screen flashes your character list. RIGHT AFTER the login screen disappears and RIGHT BEFORE the character list for your realm pops up, start spamming your “enter” key. Obviously you need to wait until the LOGIN SCREEN goes away or you will “cancel” the login by hitting the “enter” button and you need to hit “enter” before the server kicks you off.
I read it in another post and tried it… It worked for me the first try… Lemme know if it works for you… GL

I tried it and now it’s frozen on the SL loading screen lol.
yep I managed to fast log on my currently selected alt, but now im stuck in the loading screen, lol.
