Hey guys need a hand here, i’ve had a ticket open awhile, and they are insistent its on my end.
Starting yesterday, i got hit by “Login Failed” any time i try and select a character. It loads, the bar completes then i get sent back to the warband screen with the message “Login Failed” no error message nothing. Done everything that blizzards support told me to do, and it ended with “Go ask the community”.
If anyone knows a good fix for this i’d appreciate it.
Weirdly enough i can logon to classic. Just not current wow.
I can login to all classic servers. Hardcore, SoD and normal classic. And i can’t login into any retail server.
Like i get into my character select screen, and then when i pick a character, it begins loading, and then when it finishes, i get sent straight back to my warband screen with the message “Login Failed”
Edit: I should add Plunderstorm works as well. Its literally only happening on normal retail/current wow, on all servers.
I only had a damage meter installed, but i did delete all addons as soon as the issue started. And i fresh installed the game, and battle.net jsut to be safe as well.
I recommend trying another network, like a VPN or mobile connection. If that works, then you’ll know the problem is the route the ISP assigned to you. If not, then it may be a program on the local machine causing the issue.
2nd Edit: Discovered that i can now create characters on other servers (I tried this the other day and did not work) and login, but still can not access any of my characters on Khaz’Goroth and Dath’remar.
