Hello All,
Wondering what the raid logging program of choice is for WOW: Classic? Also, is there a guide on youtube or something on how to do this?
I am volunteering to keep track for my guild, and I honestly haven’t ever done it before. Any help would be great!
Thanks!
Make an account on warcraftlogs, download their program.
Enable advanced combat logging in the settings menu in game.
Once your raid starts type /combatlog
Once raid is over type /combatlog
Upload the logs through the warcraftlogs program and either delete or archive it.
Rinse repeat. You can also choose to live log in which you open the program before the raid select live log, and then type /combatlog

Live log means people could refresh the page and see each fight as it happens in a web browser, correct?
Correct. It’s great for determining exactly what happened to cause a wipe.

Do I put their program into my addons folder? Also, I can’t find that advanced combat log settings anywhere in my game menu.
thanks for the information
lol I was about to respond but then noticed this was from 3 years ago. Why do some threads lock after 2 months of no replys while others can go for years and never get locked?
ok then let me fix it…
“I was about to respond with an actual answer but then I noticed that this was from 3 years ago.”
Better?
Heydownthere:
Better?
Sure.
Personally, I have no issue with necroing informational threads.
Who knows, I just might learn something.
One of the mysteries of life, the universe and everthing.
Another is why do fools fall in love?

Serious answer: they changed it about a year ago so that all new threads lock after a period without activity.
