Crashes when logging into game server after character selection

cant even get to characters, im getting disconnected while connecting to game server

i just got in
My brother and I are having the same issue, stuck on logging in to game server, been trying for about 20 minutes now. rebooted, applied bnet update, just sits there spinning and then tells me i’ve been disconnected.
Same. I was playing fine and suddenly can’t log in.
Close all Agent.exe processes and Bnet processes. Alternatively, shut down the computer, then restart. Don’t use reboot.
I know this is a little late, but doing the steps from above did nothing.
Closing processes: Nope
Restart/reboot…Nope.
Deleted folders and files inside the Cache folder at:
Wherever you installed the game. Go into that folder, then retail. Next, go into the Cache folder. Delete everything in there.
Cleared this issue for me. Probably would have worked just on its own versus doing the process kill and shutdown and restart.
I have a weekly scheduled task that backs up my addons and WTF to an external drive. Last thing after that is done, another task deletes the contents of the Cache folder.
