Anyone elses toon dead upon logging in and you’re at the spirit healer?

I almost feel like here lately if you log out while still in combat you’re somehow still in game and get ganked.

This has always been a thing. Combat logging has never worked.

um… that’s how it works. You will die if you log in combat

Your character is still in game for another 5 minutes. Same thing if you think exiting the window will suddenly drop your character, it does not.

IIRC you can’t log while in combat. That is, you’d have to crash your game. Or do you not get errors like other people do?
I can’t ever hearth or log out while in combat.

It takes a few seconds for the game to realize you are logged off so you could still die.

Always log off at an inn. You’ll get rested XP that will…oh wait, you’re level 120 …at least you will be safe.

If you click log out and then get aggro it will cancel it and yes you cant just log out while currently in combat but you can click exit game and then click exit now. Or you know alt- F4

I’ve made it a habit to log off either at a town or in stealth.

You stay in the game for 20 seconds unless you’re in a rest area. That is why there is a counter. If you’re not in a sanctuary when you log off immediately, then you will probably be dead when you log in later.

I’ve never purposefully logged off while in combat and usually return to a safe area before logging out. I’ve never logged in dead when doing this.

happens to me when ive died. the next time i log in im dead Blizzard and thier bugs :roll_eyes:

Sucks when you DC in a dungeon during combat. You get sent to your hearth GY with no corpse to return to because you also get kicked, have to spirit rez and pay for the extra repair bill.

I write an angry letter to my IP evry tiem.
