Log out/log in issue

I am unable to post to the main forums and it has been more than 72 hours since I resubbed. I remembered that I had the same issue in the past and had to log out and then log back in. When I have tried that though, the website has been acting weird.

When I try to log out, it goes to a new page
https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/logout
and just sits there with the dots fading in and out. The web browser tab shows the page’s name as “Page Not Found”. When I hover over the account drop down, it shows the log in button. I click that and the page changes to
https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/logout
That just shows a 404 Not Found page with the “nginx” below that.

So, yeah, I cannot logout login to try and fix the posting issue as it is saying that none of the pages are found.

As one last note, one of the website updates a while ago required me to turn off my ad blocker off and I have never turned it back on. So, it is not even likely to be the cause.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, but I literally cannot logout right now. If I reload the page after to tries to go to the logout screen, I am still logged in. I cannot log out of the forums at the moment.

EDIT 2: I still cannot log out on my computer, but doing so on my phone seems to have allowed me to start posting on the forums. Something is definitely odd, but at least what made the page not found problem hit is not an issue right now.

Just wanted to bump this for anyone having trouble with either 404 errors or not being able to comment on beta forums. You have to log out ALL on profile page. This caused a 404 error, which I then had to log in on my phone first to fix the error. Thanks for the help Tenshirou.

In the middle of the Battle.net Security page for your account:

https://account.battle.net/security#recent-activity

There is a “Recent Activity” section with a “Log out from all devices” link which will force all logged in activity to log out.

Use that, delete all cache and cookies from your browser, close the browser (all windows, all tabs), and the restart the browser and log in.

I was not expecting a reply to this after so long.

For me, it was a cache problem. I actually had a similar issue happen again just last week. I use Firefox and if I clear the cache for the Blizzard website, it fixes the problem.

It seems to only happen when my status on the forums changes. This can be with a beta or subscription change. I have a suspicion that one of the cookies does not update properly for some reason on my computer.
