Log out in Flight Form

For years I’ve been able to log out and log back in when in flight form with no problem.

In the last few days, every time I log back in, my char has switched to travel form and falls from the sky. Is this something that has changed recently?

I’ve definitely had that happen before. I tend to park in an inn just in case.

Its been a bug for awhile and its a flight form thing.

Nope, this has been an ongoing issue ever since TBC.
Notably it also happens when you go into an instanced area from dungeon finder or pvp ques.

That’s been a thing for me since MoP. I simply learned never to log out in flight form after my ghost got trapped on top of the mountain range between Vale and Valley.
