This issue started yesterday (02/20/2024) during and after the DDOS/Authenication error.
When I first attempt to connect to the game, I get stuck at logging in. Sometimes it loads the character list, other times is disconnects with error WOW51900319. This happens on both my Windows 11 Pro PC and my Linux PC (Lutris/Wine).
I do eventually get the character list screen, but when I choose a character it again gets stuck, sometimes logging into the character, other times disconnecting.
When logging out of a character (that successfully loaded into game), back to the character screen, the character list is black and blank for several seconds/minutes, then gives WOW 51900319. Back to list item 1^
Once in the game on a character, everything appears to work fine. I can use the AH, vendors, and quest to my hearts content. I can even run a dungeon, until I finish and need to leave. Walking through the exit portal often disconnects (see 1^). If I leave group and the 60 sec countdown to leave starts, I either Disconnect (see 1^) or end up in the Valdrakken Inn even when not in a dungeon in that expansion.
Summary: Logging-In or Logging-out, Entering or Leaving Instances, and switching characters leads to blank screens, disconnects or random ports to Valdrakken. Any help appreciated.
Things I have tried: Repaired WoW on Win11/Linux, repair/reset UI interface, no addons, fresh install of WoW, reset/restart modem/router, DNS Flush, different modem/router, different internet connection/ISP. Edit: I have now additionally tried to disable the firewall in Win11/Linux and the Modem/Router (Does not help/work). The issue also appears to disconnect (100%) when changing realms.
I am seeing same problem with EU people as well as they are reporting similar things, saying that it is routing issues from blizzard, but 0 confirmation of this
So I log in and its fine for maybe 10 seconds but i can’t chat, just move and after that it kick me out of the game. And like this for about 30 minutes of trying. After some time I finally manage to log in and stay on for about 10 minutes or more and it kicks me out again.
I did everything, even a clean wow install… still the same problem
Yeah, it started with Dc’s logging in, then when I could stay in, it was with latencies of 2000ms (both world and home)+ every time I logged in. Then after a few more Dc’s, the latencies when back to the normal 25ms for both, but then I Dc’d every time I logged out to the character select screen… It’s been a hell of a 24hrs with a hot fix that fix very little.
Unfortunate, I was in the middle of a shuffle match that I waited 45 minutes for, and now I am DC’ing, unable to login for ~hour, finally got in, and then disconnected again after 4minutes.
Started happening yesterday for me too. Came back after the servers were apparently ‘fixed’ and the notice was gone from the bnet launcher. But I d/c’d at least 8-10 times yesterday. Today it was a bit better, not by much. I got d/c’d during a boss fight, during a pvp event, while flying, etc. Please fix or say something bout this.
I thought I was going crazy … I log in the game get disconnected, disabled all addons, same thing, renamed Cache/Interface/WTF to old, flushed my DNS cache all that BS, log back in same goddam thing since two days now. Tried Scan & Repair, stays stuck in a loop. Get on my Demon Hunter to farm Tuskkar boxes get dc’d, come back on can’t log out stuck, must ALT+F4 to get out. At least Blizzard, either give us the info we need, cause it aint from our side but yours and fix it …
