Log-in Problem

After the 9.2.5 patch, realms showed incompatible, logged out Battlenet, now can’t log-in. I enter my password, says enter authenticator code, I’ve used my phone for years not the authenticator, there is no drop down to send code to SMS (my phone).

Got my problem fixed by going to the blizzard.com and removing the authenticator and readding my phone. Note, I had already done this years ago and have used my phone for years, so somehow, the patch changed my settings.

If it asks you for an actual code, when you open the authenticator app at the bottom of the screen is the text “Enter code manually”. Press it and it gives you a code to enter.

For future reference.

For me, all servers say “incompatible” and i don’t use an authenticator.

Not sure what to do from here.

Have you tried closing the game and completely closing Battle.net, then re-opening Battle.net?

That’s the error you get when you haven’t patched yet.

i had this problem. run the scan and repair. after its done, restart your computer. then open the app. should now update

I just restarted as my scan and repair option is greyed out for some reason.

My husband is sitting beside me on his old crappy computer and logged in with no issues lol.

I’ll try again.

Update, the update to my graphics card and and exit from battlenet, combined with a pc restart has fixed the issue.
