You won’t be able to skip the server log in, if there even is one. But, log into the game now and keep yourself connected to help reduce the initial log-in queue.
There is almost never a “log in queue” lol.
It is the server queue that will be the issue. There is almost zero point in logging in now

Not really. I just know that “new” = crowd of people. Even if it’s something they don’t particularly care about. The initial opening will probably be big. But, a LOT of it will fall off soonish.
The PTR was incredibly busy… though for the last few weeks had a very large number of players from Taiwan and China.
We’ll see but imo it’s usually a small fraction of the regular playerbase that even bothers with hardcore.
I agree, entirely. But, people have this weird desire to reserve names. Even if they don’t use it, and it stays level 1.

Each time you click the Change Realm button it requeues the server list, seems to be the best way of sneaking on early in the past when queue times were an issue.
I agree. Wrath classic launch the most potential bigger thing after Vanilla 2019, didn’t have much queue at all, none if we’re talking abt the new servers Maladath etc.
Hardcore isn’t a very big target audience but it’s still exciting for many… just not queue inducing lol
Sure but that doesn’t mean a metric ton of people won’t give it a shot because its the new shiny thing. Plus its fresh.

Have the hardcore servers appeared for anyone? I’m not seeing them yet, and I just want to make sure there isn’t a problem on my end.
With Wrath Classic it’s really all about ICC and the heroics, as well as RDF, that will likely see an increase in population.
No it doesn’t. I just tried it, changed the order of the servers, cancelled out, then tried it again, and my order change was still showing. Nothing requeued until I shut down the client and relogged back in again from scratch.
No. They aren’t there yet. There should be a tab on the bottom of the server select screen that currently does not exist.
