It’s really great that I lost 60 spell damage from the demonic knowledge rune nerf. Great change to come home to.
Grimoire of Synergy damage nerf is also appreciated.
It’s really also fun that they added the Fel Armor spell which scales spell damage/healing off of spirit, and subsequently completely removed spirit from the Felheart Gear set.
Our phase 4 runes are comparatively trash to all other classes.
Really pumped up for these great class changes. Exciting stuff.

Well, on the bright side they made immolation aura give a 10% spell damage increase for locks… But then moved incinerate to the same gear slot so that I won’t be using it.

does suck but we’re all getting fel armor baseline to makeup for this spell power loss. also opens up more options for use on the feet with shadowflame/mark of chaos both going there as alternatives. (and we can take off this god forsaken stv trinket)
I think later tier will come with more spirit but they were worried it would be too much early on / wanted to give us something to scale with more later?
damage nerfed, but uptime increased. will smooth out usage and make it more routine whilest being probably about the same dps value? (not sure speculating)
def agree here… i would much rather see soul siphon buff the living crap out of siphon life since its a very deep and mandatory affli talent and also is crittable via pandemic. Would be fun to have the option to do the drain stuff they’re pushing… or run something more crit built with tactics vs. channeler.
Should have given us TBC fel armor instead.
