Lockout Kicking Pugs

yep.

I run 2 accounts, and a couple weeks ago we carried one of my unused 60s through each non-tier heroic boss. now we have a lockout with just tier bosses we can use every week.

there’s no justification to take advantage of other players when you can do stuff like that. just save a lockout on an alt to get what you want.

At the same time, there is a support article that says groups are explicitly allowed to kick player for any reason.

Couple things ring bad with this story. If their guild was similarly geared or less, why not just do the raid with them? Why disband the group and not just leave himself? Why not just keep going but switch character so he keeps the lockout? Why be that frigging transparent when he could have just silently left and remade group with his guildies?

What? Why?

I more referred to the overall tier drama rather than this specific case.

But yes.

It’s awful because you can accomplish the same thing without screwing over everyone else. If he had left and reformed… he has his save.

Dude I have played a lot more CS GO than WoW. WoW is more toxic than CS GO. Ive seen people on WoW tell someone to delete their character then off them self on a over a lower key.

lol and people want master loot

Wrong, this a RL and his buddies being…an expletive of some sort.

Yes, and yes.

You get the community you build.

That isn’t to say the entirety of the playerbase is hot garbage, because it obviously isn’t. There is a lot of game out there to be enjoyed by people who take a different approach to what is offered. On that note, I stick with those folks.

But, unfortunately, if you want to go into dungeons the game and it’s community takes a dark turn. It become competitive, cutthroat, and it breeds/nurtures people who not only want that, but thrive on it.

It is literally the #1 reason why the WoW community has such a terrible reputation.

And, it is absolutely a trickle down effect from the developers. Namely Ion. Toxic bro culture. LoL has it, and WoW has it.

Maybe Microsoft will shake the house up. Even if they did a staff change, there is still a community problem that would have to be dealt with. That is doable as well, and would require a period of zero tolerance to cull the toxic players.

But that isn’t today, nor tomorrow. I just avoid the whole mess and do my own thing.

Sorry, not wrong, it is unfortunate you can’t see it.
