What is hilarious is prior to DF, you were stuck grounded regardless.
<— Disabled and engaged
You crying victim is tired.
You realize you don’t hold the voice for the handicap community right? And acting the way you are just makes the community look bad.
Like really… everyone is totally picking on the handicap people. Blizzard totally wants to force handicap people on the ground. Totally specifically targeting handicap people.
He didn’t.
Just because YOU use it as such, doesn’t make it a feature or it’s intended purpose.
But since you love to keep quoting him and referecing this. I guess you think afking in the air is on par with handicap accessibilty
“We also understand there are some folks um for accessibility reasons, personal preference reasons, maybe you just like being able to AFK in the in midair”
“But DR is the deafualt”, It is DR that will be unlocked shortly after someone gets off the newbie isle, so the first form of flight they will experience in WoW is Dynamic.
Not that such should be an issue, for all we know some new players will be new to the genre altogether or looking for something different
I would like to add that PF ended up making the players that used to do outdoor content for two years even during content draughts to become the dreaded cyclical player like M+, raiders and PVP players tend to be. They were the most consistent to sub and spend money in the shop and to stay stubbed during content draughts.
It is ironic that patchfinder was supposed to keep players engaged but it ended up backfiring. It may seem counter intuitive however the reason why is that for the average player that does a lot of questing, pet battles and profession gathering that IS their end game. Telling them to come back half way through the expansion to experience end game is like telling M+ players, raiders or PVP rated/unrated players to come back mid expansion to “experience” the game. Does this make sense? Which is why the super delayed start for the season for many players in TWW which is supposedly a shorter expansion is just an extension of this putrid philosophy. A philosophy rooted at ensuring players can not organically engage with content but rather be forced through it through a condensed time table.
And people claim that the pathfinder achievement will change its requirements and yet it hasn’t and with 3 weeks or 4 weeks left I doubt it will change then.
They don’t care. They just want to kick and scream because it’s “not fair”. It doesn’t matter how easy, trivial, timeframe. The fact both aren’t available at the exact same moment and because ion said “accessibility”.
The sky is falling because pathfinder exists.
If it was not for the fact I am going the ground rout to get my pathfinder, I’d be so tempted to suggest some ideas for those using DR to do to those on the ground.
